Flu is the new psychosis. This article talks about chemical drugs and about how to fight flu naturally.
“Influenza can be deadly, but if you’re otherwise healthy, it typically is a self-limiting illness that runs its course in a few days and requires no treatment.” – dr Mercola
We take natural products when it comes to a simple cold. We stuff ourselves with supplements, which is not that good, and think we’ll manage, it really is not a serious disease. But when it comes to flu and symptoms become unbearable, fear will lead the way to chemical drugs.
We have been taught to trust doctors. Medicine has evolved a lot and did tremendous good to humanity. True. However, blindly trusting something, anything, has never been good.
With evolution of medicine, evolution of viruses and microbes took place. When a new mutated virus arouse, new medicine tries to kill it. But it is a long, complicated and dangerous way. It needs many tries, many studies it has side-effects and may work only partially.
Viruses are different than bacteria, or fungi. Way difficult to kill. And there are few antivirals available. The truth about them is mostly untold, because humanity must be offered a reliable medicine. Probably based more on placebo and people’s trust in the system, these drugs must work.
Are Tamiflu and Relenza good for flu?
Scientific evidence must offer the answer. And the Cochrane Collaboration is considered to be the gold standard in evidence-based reviews. They turned to complete clinical study reports, which were “unpublished, extensive documents with great detail on the trials that formed the basis for market approval”. After a four-year Freedom of Information suit, the researchers were able to assess these regulatory documents, all 160,000+ pages of them.
They found that the evidence does not support claims that these drugs (Tamiflu and another anti-viral drug Relenza [zanamivir]) lower the risk of complications from the flu (such as pneumonia) or that the benefits outweigh the risks.(source) Dr. Tom Jefferson, who led the study, noted, “I wouldn’t give it [Tamiflu] for symptom relief… I’d give paracetamol [Tylenol].”(source)
The review also found no evidence to support claims that the drugs help to reduce viral transmission.
A 2015 report compiled by the UK’s Academy of Medical Sciences also reviewed all available evidence on Tamiflu and concluded it’s not known whether Tamiflu would be useful during a pandemic flu outbreak. Here is their conclusion: “Tamiflu was handed out “indiscriminately” during the last swine flu outbreak and may have done no good at all.”
Are Tamiflu and Relenza safe?
Far from it. Tamiflu and Relenza are part of a group of anti-influenza drugs called neuraminidase inhibitors, which work by blocking a viral enzyme that helps the influenza virus to invade cells in your respiratory tract. The problem is that our nervous system also contains neuraminidase enzymes essential for proper brain functioning, and when blocked with these dangerous drugs, severe neurotoxicity may ensue (especially in the infants and children whose blood-brain barrier has not yet developed sufficiently).
Serious side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, fatigue, cough, and, neuropsychiatric disorders, including suicidal behavior, hallucinations, seizures, delirium and other behavioral side effects (such as reports of children jumping off roofs shortly after taking the drug). At least 14 deaths in children and teens have been reported as a result of neuropsychiatric problems and brain infections. Japan actually banned Tamiflu for children in 2007 because of the steep risks.
Tamiflu has been shown to shorten the duration of flu symptoms by less than 17 hours. However, it also does not reduce viral transmission and does not lower your risk of complications from the flu, such as pneumonia.
What is Arbidol?
Arbidol (ARB) is a broad-spectrum antiviral compound made in Russia, that blocks viral fusion. It is very-well known and sold OTC in Russia and China, currently given to patients infected with the novel coronavirus. Unlike other broad-spectrum antivirals, ARB has an established molecular mechanism of action against influenza A and B viruses, which is different from that of available influenza antivirals, and a more recently established mechanism of inhibition of hepatitis C virus (HCV).
A review from 2008 summarizes the available evidence of ARB effects against different groups of viruses. According to it, ARB exhibits a wide range and potent antiviral activity against a number of viruses including influenza A, B and C viruses, respiratory syncytial virus, adenovirus, parainfluenza type 5 and rhinovirus type 14, avian coronavirus, infectious bronchitis virus and Marek disease virus, hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus. Chinese investigators confirmed the wide antiviral spectrum of ARB against influenza A, respiratory syncytial virus, human rhinovirus type 14, coxsackie B3 virus and adenovirus type 7. And while there are no published indications of ARB activity against other medically important viral pathogens like HIV-1, coronavirus or Ebola virus, Chinese doctors are treating patients infected to the novel 2019 coronavirus, with ARB (source).
There is no mention regarding ARB side-effects.
It is everything modern medicine can do, we should not blame it for anything. Microbes will always be one step ahead. But we should remember that nature has always offered us a solution, humanity survived history with its help.
Historically speaking, there have been flu outbreaks, such as the Hong Kong flu of 1968 to 1969, caused by influenza A subtype H3N2, aka Hong Kong flu virus, that were estimated to have killed 1 million to 4 million deaths. Yet, far fewer than the 1918–19 pandemic, which caused between 25 million and 50 million deaths. – britannica.com
How to fight a virus naturally?
First of all, you need to know there are no natural products proved to kill coronavirus. There are natural products that ease the symptoms and natural products that can boost your immune system and thus help your body fight better.
BEWARE of pretenders and frauds! Companies are making Coronavirus claims which are only claims, nothing more, in a shameful effort of making more money. Please consult the list here: FTC, FDA warn companies making Coronavirus claims.

Quercetin
I’s a plant flavonol found naturally in apples, plums, red grapes, green tea, onions and elder flower. It packs a powerful antiviral punch, inhibiting several strains of influenza, hepatitis B and C and other viruses. It combats inflammation and acts as a natural antihistamine.
Honey is a good source of quercetin, along other important polyphenols. Read more on Why is honey so valuable? What are polyphenols and what are they good for?
Quercetin is also found in important amounts in our poplar propolis, which is the most common type of propolis found in the Northern hemisphere. And though Baccharis (Green) propolis has no quercetin, it still has showed antiviral activity, though no substances that would trigger it have been identified.
The antiviral effects of quercetin can be attributed to three main mechanisms of action:
– inhibiting the virus’ ability to infect cells,
– inhibiting replication of already infected cells, and,
– reducing infected cells’ resistance to treatment with antiviral medication.
• In 2007 a research team from Appalachian State University in North Carolina found quercetin reduces viral illness and boosts mental performance following extreme physical stress.
40 cyclists were divided into two groups; half of them received a daily dose of 1,000 mg of quercetin in combination with vitamin C (which enhances plasma quercetin levels) and niacin (to improve absorption) for five weeks while the other half received a placebo.
Three weeks into the trial, the athletes rode a bicycle for three hours a day, three days in a row. Blood and tissue samples were collected before and after exertion. Analysis revealed 45 percent of the placebo group contracted viral illness after the physical stress, compared to just 5 percent of the treatment group.
This and similar other studies were funded by the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and they led to the development of a quercetin supplement for military personnel. The supplement, Q-Force (Amazon #ad), is also commercially available to the general public.
Quercetin is also available in other supplement forms, Amazon sells it (here is an example: NatureBell Quercetin 1000mg). Remember to take it with Liposomal Vitamin C and Niacin.
Quercetin was one of the top compounds identified as a potential therapeutic for Covid-19 (was screened as one having high affinity to the S-protein).
“Assays with the HIV-luc/SARS pseudotyped virus showed that quercetin also had antiviral activity against HIV-luc/SARS, with an EC50 of 83.4 μM. The cytotoxicity of quercetin was very low, with a CC50 of 3.32 mM. As an FDA-approved drug ingredient, quercetin offers great promise as a potential drug in the clinical treatment of SARS.” (study)
Qurcetin works for influenza A (study) and ebola (study).
Qurcetin is a zinc ionophore – which is the way chloroquine works in treating Covid-19. To make it more bioavailable, take it with bromelain and vit-C. And, of course, zinc.

Propolis
Propolis is a powerful health remedy, the only medicine honey bees have and use. It is a powerful antibiotic, killing both Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses. It kills the tested viruses: Adenovirus, Coronavirus, Herpes symplex, Influenca A and B virus, Newcastle disease virus, Polio virus, Vaccinia, Rotavirus; Vesicular Stomatitis Virus and Coronar virus.
Due to its many health benefits, propolis is recommended to treat respiratory problems associated with flu. Propolis treats otorhinolaryngologic and respiratory diseases, including asthma. It boosts immunity fast and protects liver.
Manuka honey
Any type of honey (not the one from the supermarket though) has antiviral activity. A 2014 study showed that honey, in general, and particularly manuka honey, has potent inhibitory activity against the influenza virus, demonstrating a potential medicinal value.
“Manuka honey efficiently inhibited influenza virus replication (IC50 = 3.6 ± 1.2 mg/mL; CC50 = 82.3 ± 2.2 mg/mL; selective index = 22.9), which is related to its virucidal effects. In the presence of 3.13 mg/mL manuka honey, the IC50 of zanamivir or oseltamivir was reduced to nearly 1/1000th of their single use.”
In another 2014 study, the main component of manuka honey, MGO, inhibited influenza virus A/WSN/33 replication 50% inhibitory concentration = 240 ± 190 μM; 50% cytotoxic concentration = 1.4 ± 0.4 mM; selective index (SI) = 5.8, which is related to its virucidal effects. Moreover, MGO showed promising activity against various influenza strains. A synergistic effect was observed by a marked increase in SI of NA inhibitors at ∼1/100(th) of their single usage. A synergistic effect of MGO and oseltamivir was also observed against oseltamivir-resistant virus.
Here is a very interesting story, that will catch you attention.
Please be very careful when buying manuka honey. More than half of what it is sold is not real. Check this list before buying it, and read the label correctly.
Olive leaf
It has also been found to be a potent broad-spectrum antiviral agent, active against all viruses tested: Rhinovirus, Myxoviruses, Herpes simplex type 1and 2, Herpes zoster, Encephalomyocarditis, Polio 1, 2 and 3, two strains of leukemia virus, numerous strains of influenza and para-influenza viruses.
A 2005 study published in the journal Antiviral Research proposed that olive leaf extracts could be used as a safe and natural antiviral. Common antiviral uses in the field of natural medicine include fighting colds and flu, yeast infections, and viral infections such as the hard-to-treat Epstein-Barr disease, shingles and herpes.
Black seeds (Nigella sativa)
Black seeds oil contain 3 main phytonutrients: thymoquinone (TQ), thymohydroquinone (THQ) and thymol. Arabs say there is no disease that black seeds can’t cure. It is effective against cancer and HIV. It is a powerful antibiotic, effective against bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses.
The literature is abundant with studies on the black seeds, here is an example: In 2000 a research team conducted by Salem ML, “Protective effect of black seed oil from Nigella sativa against murine cytomegalovirus infection.”showed its antiviral effect” showed that black seed oil exhibited a striking antiviral effect against murine cytomegalovirus infection (source).
Curcumin
Curcuma longa L. (Zingiberaceae family) has proved activity against different bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. Studies showed its efficacy on fighting parainfluenza virus type 3 (PIV-3), feline infectious peritonitis virus (FIPV), vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV), herpes simplex virus (HSV), flock house virus (FHV) and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Curcumin showed the anti-influenza activity against influenza viruses PR8, H1N1, and H6N1. The results showed more than 90% reduction in virus yield in cell culture using 30 ?M of curcumin. The viruses developed no resistance to curcumin. These results proved the significant potential of curcumin for inhibition of influenza.(Moghadamtousi, 2014)
Black seeds + curcumin
Black seeds and curcumin work synergistically. A 2016 study, by Umar S et al., showed that supplements of hymoquinone and curcumin in combination would significantly enhance immune responsiveness and suppress pathogenicity of influenza viruses in turkeys.
Essential oils:
In 2017, a team of researchers lead by Amandine Brochot, showed that a blend from cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Wild carrot (Daucus carota), eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) and rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) significantly reduced viral units for H1N1 and HSV1 (source).
Eucalyptus globulus and Cinnamomum Zeylanicum essential oils also have been reported to have antiviral activity (Astani, Reichling, & Schnitzler, 2010; Cermelli, Fabio, Fabio, & Quaglio, 2008; Vimalanathan & Hudson, 2014).
If you use them already, you know how incredible these essential oils are and how to take them. Oregano oil, Thyme oil, Black seeds oil, to directly fight the viruses, and so many others to help with the symptoms. From Dottera, I mention OnGuard and Air – two very effective blends.
Very important. Internally use only 100% pure essential oils (Doterra is an example). And read about how to perform a massage using them. Did you know that your soles are a wide open door to your whole body? Only applying essential oils on them will solve a cold in 2-3 days, without taking anything else.

Hot cocoa
According to a 2016 study Anti-influenza virus effects of cocoa, made by a Japanese team conducted by Kamei M, drinking cocoa activates natural immunity and enhances vaccination-induced immune response, providing stronger protection against influenza virus infection and disease onset. 🙂
How to prevent flu naturally
· Food that prevent flu: remove refined sugars, grains, and processed foods from your diet. This is impossible these days, right? Well, try to reduce their quantity. And add more onion, garlic, black pepper.
· Increase your intake of healthy and essential fats like the omega-3. Check your Vit D3 levels and take supplements. And liposomal Vit C.
· Wash your hands. But don’t over do it. And no, sanitized liquids are not better than water and soap.
· Cheer up. A state of love, joy and gratefulness works better than a ton of supplements, drugs and herbs put together. And because it is hard to be joyful when ill, force it to come to you. Listen to your favorite kind of music and watch tons of well-known comedies. I give you 2 examples of very old serials to watch: Mash 4077 and Friends. Not all movies are good. No GOT or vampires. It has to be comedy to lift your spirit.
